We have all heard “Change is hard…you go first”. In all seriousness, change is difficult for a variety of reasons. As a leader, it is important to

be able to work with your team to implement change. According to Kouzes & Posner in The Leadership Challenge (6thed.), “The more 
frequently people see their leader ‘searching outside the formal boundaries of his or her organization for innovative ways to improve’,the 
more strongly they agree their leader is effective.” (Kouzes & Posner, 2017)

Read the article “Leading Change while Creating Value” by Nieuwoudt and Rudman from the Required Readings and answer the following 
questions in the discussion board. Support your position with excerpts from the article and additional research.
