Consider budgeting. Interview someone in your organization or an organization that you’re familiar with that is involved in budgeting. How do they budget? Do they use zero-based, responsibility, top-down budgeting method, or a combination of methods? Are the budgets meaningful for the person that you are talking to? Do the budgets help them with their long-term planning?

This question will help the students to understand why they need to study accounting. Question responses should be a minimum of 250 words, with a goal of 500 words with at least 1 outside, academic strength source.   A response to at least two of your classmates  is required.
